60/365 – EPIC FAIL

Happy day 60! Now I have 305 days left! hah.. no seriously, these past 60 days have been fast, and amazing. I started school 59 days ago, and that was alarming… and I have only two more weeks of school. Well, 4 more days of school (I only go twice a week..). Boy am I scared. I need to study for my finals, and finish up some homework.. I’ll do that tomorrow, and Monday. :]

So let me explain this photo a bit..

I’ve never decorated a gingerbread house before. EVER. So my best friend says "you just need graham crackers, a milk carton, and some frosting..". So we headed off to Winco, and I bought these ingredients. And the final product?? There you have it.. A disgusting looking gingerbread house that’s unacceptable to the Gingerbread Cookie House Institute (if they ever had one..)

No really. So I decorated the house with a window made of licorice. The house has blue sharks guarding the entrance from mean nasty ogres or Lord Farquuad..
"NOT THE GUM DROP BUTTONS!!!".

So that’s my attempt at a gingerbread house. It was fun.. I don’t think I’m going to do that anymore.. Too much sugar. xD

Fox

This lil fella really scared me the other day. I was trying to sleep and heard muffled sounds of someone wading through litter, weird barks and yelps (we thought it was cats playing when heard previously) right outside my window. The other night, I was convinced it was someone hiding by the side of our house, they were right outside my bedroom window (ground floor) and I couldn’t sleep.

After googling up ‘fox sounds’ and the rest and recognising the screeching bark and unmistakable yelp, I stood on my bed looking over into this gap and saw a fox’ head! We crept outside last night to find 3 beautiful foxes (they are one of my fave animals) startled by our torchlight, alarmed. They ran into the darkness where this character is standing, appearing to hide in a concealed cellar under the house.

I just crept around there this morning to see this beauty waiting to pose for me. Am hoping to get some more without scaring them away as they appear to be living almost literally under my nose. I know it’s not a brilliant picture.
